Looking to purchase a few new table saw blades (currently using Forrest WWII) and I am considering the Woodpecker Ultra Shear blades. However, I can't find any reviews (only Woodpecker promotional videos). Is anyone currently using the Woodpecker blades and do you have any insight or thoughts?

Thanks and Merry Christmas!

I have the Freud LU84R011: 10" Combination Blade, under $80.00 on Amazon.

I’m very happy with it.  Nice job on rips and cross cuts, MDF, Particle board and plywood.

I have a dedicated blade for melamine clad particle board and plywood.  But depending on the application, I will cut plywood with the Freud blade.

I don’t think you will find a much better blade out there.  Though, it really wants a riving knife for long rips, especially on green pressure treated lumber.

A few?

What are you cutting, when/why do you expect to change blades, and what is important to you? Quality of cut? Speed of cut? Mostly rips? Mostly cross-cuts? Joinery? Hardwood? Sheet goods? Do you get your blades resharpened, or do you just buy new ones? Is your saw a big cabinet saw, or an underpowered jobsite saw?

There are many factors to consider....

I like having two blades so that I will not be without a blade while one is out for sharpening.

I didn’t do that with the Freud.  When it gets dull, I can get it replaced in a couple of days from Amazon.  At under $80.00, it probably does not pay to sharpen it.

I often wonder how a question about a specific tool or consumable  (anybody using this…what is your opinion?
Gets off in the weeds…..if you use it ? like it/hate it …doesn’t/does work
I personally haven’t used this saw blade but would like to hear if it stands out in anyway (that’s how we learn of new things) not what your using I assumed that was the question and look forward to hearing from anyone happy with it
Ps I didn’t even know about it….but this is how I pick up and learn about things
