Anybody with advice on custom cross braces for the MFT extension table?

My MFT and extension table live semi-permanently set up in my garage, and I'd like to add some cross braces to the extension table like the Festool-made ones for the MFT itself. Has anybody here already done this, and if so do you have any advice?

It seems like the most important side to brace is the short end, as that has the most movement. I'll probably try to brace the back of the long side as well similar to the MFT cross braces.

My current plan is to use pipe along with some sort of 3d-printed ends.
