Specifically, for use in the TS55. I'm wondering if it works better than Festool's TCG or fine-tooth.

I know nothing about this blade but every Tenryu saw blade I have bought has been good. I have used many different types but ordered one they stated was for pressure treated lumber and it was they best cutting saw blade I have ever used in a circular saw. Those people make a good product.

I just got the 80-tooth Oshlun blade on Amazon ($50).  I haven't used it yet, but the 6 online reviews are all glowing.  For the price, I figured it was well worth a try.  I plan to be making a few cuts in melamine in the next few days, so we'll see how it performs.

I've tried all three and like the tenryu the best, but still not a 100% chip free cut on both sides

That's the kind of experience I was hoping to hear about--thanks!
