Thinking of getting one & need some feedback on either the Hammer N4400 or the Felder FB-510

they have Xmas pricing in play  till the middle of January

& I'm getting a Hammer A3-31 jointer/planer in any case  ,

looking at the FB-510 Felder as well

I like the Felder having the larger table & 16" capability for  resaw vs the Hammer 12" resaw

Looks like I'm going with a MiniMax 16

Edit  :  I just ordered a S 400P (MM16) Bandsaw from Erik Loza @ MiniMaxUSA
RE-Edit :  that got changed at the last minute & I went with a MM20

beefer frame , heavier wheels , All Italian construction ,
I actually changed to a MM-20 at the last minute because the table is larger & the wheels are bigger than the MM16.

there is a issue with carbide blades & the 16" wheels ,from my research, so I wanted to make sure I got a bigger is better feeling

I don't want any regrets , I'm only buying a big BS once

The Lenox blades are now made for 16" wheels  but with the cost of blades I thought it best to buy the biggest BS I could afford

I am also getting a 16" Jointer/Planer from Mini-Max now as well
year end package deal & combined shipping  with the MM20
still in the process of getting the details ironed out

Those look like great machines. I doubt you'll feel the need to upgrade. Ever. [big grin]

I hate to ask the tacky pink-elephant question, but what is the price range for the Felder FB-510?  I've tried registering and completing the request link, but it didn't work.
