Hi there,

Anyone know of any festool deals on at the minute? Or even some competitively priced dealers in the U.K???

Thanks!

In the USA, Festool is currently offering a 10% discount on all Domino products, but it's rare.  There is no discounting by dealers in the USA.

In the UK, I have seen some dealer websites that appear to sell at a discount, but I don't remember which they were.

You might contact Peter Parfitt here who would likely have some pretty good ideas where you would get the best deal on Festool.

Good luck,

Frank

There are a few really good dealers, a few really competitively priced dealers, and a few dealers you'll find local to you. If you're lucky, you might get two of those attributes; it's exceptional to get three!

Personally, I tend to use Nuts and Bolts as an online dealer (http://www.powertool-supplies.co.uk/) and get excellent support (really good dealer, really competitively priced) but they're not that close to me. It's my first port of call when adding to the fleet, and they're generally the cheapest around.

I've used many other online dealers, and at times, they'll have specials on certain items - FFX have a good deal on the OF 1010 right now for example, and Alan Wadkins had some great deals on the SYS 1 BOX a while ago. You'll need to shop around a little for the best deals - they're not always at the same dealer.

If you check out the UK and Southern Ireland Members link in my signature, you'll also find a list of active Festool dealers in the UK that frequent the FOG.

Shopping around is your best bet. It seems to go around in circles as to which is cheapest. Ffx seem to be the cheapest at the moment for systainers/sortainers and the midi. While others are cheaper for drills etc.
I got my first lot of festool stuff from both ffx and axminster. My ts55 2 rail and accessory kit came from axminster as they price matched them and i needed it that weekend so didnt have time to wait to get it 15 quid cheaper elsewhere.
Plus it helps that im working 15 minutes from an axminster store. Well actually its not helping my wallet  [tongue]  LOL

Nuts & Bolts on a whole are rarely matched and the service is always spot on.

FFX is always worth a look, they certainly have good deals on the Systainers (including the Domino packages), accessories and usually the 1010 and 1400 are good deals.

Axminster however just don't compete these days in my opinion - they had a recent price hike across the board at Christmas which was just obscene.
