The apron would seem like a good thing to either just have available all the time or bring back every fall. Demand and discussion for it seems to pop up here regularly. I have the apron and really like it. For the roughly $35 I felt it was a good deal, the apron and a mini-sys. I've heard there was a full length apron at one time. I'd buy one of those. I could probably apply another finish coat quickly without having to change pants.
We discussed the Centro-Sys in Lebanon. Everyone wanted one. Just not the huge one with too much stuff and too high of a price. I should have my new 09 Centro-Sys this weekend. It'll be interesting to see how useful it is.

A while back I saw in someone's photo a small clamp rack (off white, IIRC), that mounted to the MFT side rail or legs, and holds the Festool style clamps (with the streamlined "head" that fits into rails, etc).

Is this an item that was temporarily available?  Anyone know a source / number?

No, I'm pretty sure that was a VS600 template.

I was told during user group training that one had to sell their soul to Festool to obtain a polo [sad].

Buy your festool salesman lunch once in a while. Mine alaways seems to have a "stash". I have an XL as well. Very sharp.

I understand what you're saying. We are fortunate enough to have a locally owned dealer that caries Festool and provides all of my on site support as well. I forget that is not available to all. Wasn't trying to rub your nose in it.
