I was commissioned to build a new console for our theater at work. We do allot of High Definition work on movies and most of the work is film based, however every now and then the work is HD video so we need a monitor on the console but they want it to disappear so I purchased a lift and power supply from Firgelli Automation to lift a monitor out  of the console.

Firgelli Automtaion

The console still needs laminate which is back ordered and the lift tests out fine. I hope to finish it next week but thought I'd share with you a video I shot cutting the arc on the top.

I used my MFS 700 along with two 2000mm extension rails. The rails were joined with the joiners sold by Festool (sorry I don't have the part number and can't find them on the website)

It worked well and I plan to do it again on future projects. The people watching me cut the arc were very, very impressed with the MFS! Dan,

8) Thanks for sharing. Hope you share the finished product. ;D

I can't wait to the console when you are finished.  It sound really cool.

Thanks everyone. I promise to post pics when it is finished and will demonstrate the lift in the video.

I was planning on laminating the monitor lift housing tonight but real work got in the way  :(

Hopefully Monday will be quieter at work and I can make some progress!!!
