Hi everyone. I'm relatively new to the FOG and have only been using festool products for months now but, of course, have already started sliding down the slippery green slope at a pretty good clip. I live in Iowa and had the great fortune to connect, meet and have coffee with HassleFactor yesterday. She is fantastic and I feel like I already know a good number of people here.
So, I am looking for a little help. HassleFactor suggested I post here and said she'd reference me so here it goes. I'm putting together my shop and have been getting a variety of both new and used Festool equipment this summer. My latest opportunity is for a Kapex, a MFT/3 Kapex and an OF1400.
What I'm looking for is someone to assist in brokering the deal. The person I'm buying from is in the Oklahoma City area and is unable to ship the items for some medical reasons. I'm looking to see if there's anyone here on the FOG that lives in or near the Oklahoma City area that is willing to help. HassleFactor tells me that I can trust everyone here so I'm putting my faith in that reference.
Specifically what I'm asking is if anyone can pick up and ship the items to me. It'll all be prepaid and I'm willing to chip in something for helping out. I'm even trying to work with HasselFactor to see if I can get some of her famous candy to offer as incentive.
How about it, is anyone willing an able to help a fellow Festooler?
