There is a home made extend cord for battery (spiral cord) . You can use you drill with the battery on you pocket so the drill is less heavy. It will become an original part of Festool system one day..... But mine woking fine for the moment.

Drawer units attached inside a Systainer? Now that's a new one. Interesting option.  Is there something to prevent the drawers from sliding out during transport?

Yes, each drawer have some piece of plastic glued under in order to stay locked inside the cabinet. You just have to pull a little bit to unlock it
