It's not finished, but I wanted you to see this shop project that I am working on.  After years of waffling, I finally stopped sketching and started building.  The top is a Marks, Spagnoulo inspired torsion box and the base is a Jmatz, Dan Clermont inspired cabinet with a twist that I will reveal later.

Very nice Roland! I'll be following this thread, this is just what I need in my shop.

Okay,

Here is the other side - the front side.  This weekend, I made up the 16 shallow drawers out of scraps from various projects.  Can you figure out what that big space between the drawer banks is for?  Hint:  American Woodworker #119

American Woodworker #119 had a project on the cover that incorporated a torsion box workbench with a rolling assembly table/cabinet that docked in the space between the two base cabinets that supported the torsion box counter top.  This thing is not near completion and already I love it.  All that I ever had before this were those folding plastic tables from Costco.

Here are a couple of Sketchup pics.  I will be drawing the docking station before I build it - I'll try to post that when I have time.[attachimg=1]
