Attach systainer to top of ct mini?

I just bought a CT mini so I'd have a portable dust collector.  I bought one of the attachment kits so I could use it as a vac as well.

Has anyone actually attached a systainer to the top of the Mini?  It seems like it should work, but the latches on the Mini don't seem to align with the clips on the systainer.  My first thought is that I'm doing something stupid, but it seems like there's only one way the systainer could attach, and it just doesn't work.

It's not a huge deal obviously, but it's bugging me as it doesn't make sense.

Unless I'm not reading your post wrong.....just keep trying I guess ...systainers are made to fit on top, both classic and T's

You can attach a T-Loc Systainer on top of a Classic but not the other way around. I assume it is the same with the CTL extractors.

Do you have a Mini with the T-Loc and a Classic Systainer?

Welcome to the forum, billberner !  [smile]

Unless I missed an in between vac variant , you should be able to attach either type of systainer to an old or new CT Mini/Midi. Both a Classic sys and a T-Loc sys have the four lugs to attach the classic style latches at the bottom. Pretty sure the new T-Loc CT-Minis still have the four latches in addition to the T-Loc latch.

How about a picture of the attachment problem?

If attaching a T-loc systainer - ignore the 4 latches. Make sure the rear feet of the systainer are catching under the lip of the hoover and then simply twist the t-loc catch
