Deposit made [wink]

Phantom Black Pearl Metallic Paint
RS Performance Pack (includes Bose, Navigation, Diamond Stitch Leather, Carbon Fibre Inlays)
Panoramic Sunroof
Privacy Glass
Matt Aluminium Styling Pack
20x8.5 V-Twin Spoke Wheels

Probably also go for the ABT ECU too, but without any of the overt external stuff.

Nice!  Congratulations!  Did you find one on the dealers lot or order it from the mothership?

She's in the showroom waiting for me ... Just a little deal fine tuning to do.

Hi if the a4 has the 2.0 there is a lot that can be done and I can assure you the car won't be boring
To begin with start with a high speed fuel pump .then add a  chip improvement like giac, couple that with an rs rear sway bar ,wheel spacers and an improved exhaust
And the car flies.

Congrats! And know there's something else i know nothing about that Ill have go research.

So Kev...I've only visited your country once and didn't get to spend much time there so I have to ask - where do you go to play in something like that?

For instance, I know you could take a Range Rover type to certain parts of the outback, etc. but are there specific places to test 'man and machine' for a performance vehicle? I suspect there must be - and you're already planning your visit?

Agreed - if it was ...

The car is a 1.8 M-tronic ... CVT ... As exciting as custard.

I can't wait to get back to a 5 pot. They're magic, my first Audi was a 5 banger.

No, I have no such plans as it's not legal [wink]

Cornering on my test drive was both amazing and weird ... Track like cornering with a high seating position will take a bit to be comfortable with.

At least you can fit all that edge banding in your new Audi:)

[size=14pt]

Congrats on the new purchase.

Three thoughts -
. Black cars south of the Murray River invoke in the observer a sense of illegal activity. [smile]
. I see it has a customer supplied wood grain (read, edge-band) dash. [smile]
. When will we see it fitted out with Festool racking?,  [smile]

Hope you soon post some PICs.

[popcorn] [popcorn] [popcorn] [popcorn]

30 hours of waiting left, that's all.

I pick the RSQ3 up on Friday morning - ready for the weekend.

I'ill probably run it in before I hand it over for an ABT upgrade.

[smile]

Less than 9 hours to go ... quite excited now, can't sleep. Seems I'm still a big kid [embarassed]

Haha!  Good for you!  My last new car was in 2006, but it was only a pimped out Honda (Acura). I never really got excited about it, but I needed something bulletproof which it was.  Last one that kept me up in anticipation was in 2002 when I flew across the country to pick up my new to me S4. Great feeling!  Please don't mind me while I live vicariously through you!

The deed is done ...

I wish I had video recorded the delivery - the treatment was quite special.

The vehicle was waiting in a delivery room, under a black cover, behind glass doors - beautifully detailed!

Just the right amount of ceremony, with the car run through and handover ... plus champagne, chocolates, special coffees and other nice gifts in a big silver box. After the run through we left the car in the booth and closed the doors to watch it descend on a dedicated lift down to the lower showroom exit.

As I was about to motor off I was handed a voucher for lunch at the Bathers Pavilion Restaurant at Balmoral - life is tough!

So here she is just before we had lunch ...

Thank you Mosman Audi and a special shout out to Joe Avakian who made the entire event unlike a car buying exercise and more like a royal treatment.

Damn that Quattro hangs on [eek]

(I'm obviously orientationally challenged)

Here ya go Kev:

It's obvious that you were knocked over by your experience!

[big grin]

Actually, I am quite envious of your experience. It's nice getting the royal treatment, isn't it?
