Audi RS Q3 opinions please

Here ya go Kev:

It's obvious that you were knocked over by your experience!

[big grin]

Actually, I am quite envious of your experience. It's nice getting the royal treatment, isn't it?

Thanks [wink]

Yes, it is. It's customer service like that that keeps you going back again and again. It's our 6th Audi and I'm certain it won't be our last. My next best car brand buying experience down from Audi would probably be Mazda .. and my worst would be BMW (it's almost as different as Festool v's Mafell !)

Couple more in the show room so you can see it properly.

Beautiful.  Great Lines.  She looks like a rocket.  Wheels arent my cup of tea but still are killer.

That buying experience sounds outrageous!  What treatment.

They're new to the model a 20" 5 x twin spoke design ...

I was initially thinking classic Rotors, but they grew on me.

Congratulations!!  Enjoy it!  I love the subtle aggressive design elements on the RS cars. Not quite a look at me character, just get out of the way please!  :)  Any driving impressions to share yet?

Driving impressions ? Well, it's actually a little strange [huh]

You sit up reasonably high and yet it's feels very crisp and responsive ... forgetting what I'm driving, it's a paradox for the senses if you've switched back and forth between sporty and small cars and big 4WD's all your life.

Comfort mode is great with the better half in the car, throttle response is gentle and the ride is nice round bumpy Sydney roads. Switch to dynamic mode and it instantly changes to stiffer ride, sharper throttle and the steering even seems to change.

The rubber makes good contact and seems to track well, but I haven't had the opportunity to give it some steam - that's tomorrow [wink]

It was a close thing, but do you know how expensive a 25km plug-it lead is [scared] [eek] [crying]

Now remember - in order to top Peter Halle, you need to detail the rotors and calipers!

[wink]

Any interior pics Kev ?  Car looks ace  [big grin]

Night time here, so won't get a good pick right now - here's one from when it was in the showroom ...

... there's some great effects. I love the illuminated surround for the front Bose speakers. The quilted diamond stitch seats are nice - hope the white contrast stitching doesn't end up looking dirty!

Agreed  [smile]

If women wore a perfume called "new car" we'd be completely helpless!

Sounds like Audi did a good job with it!  That high perched feeling and mushy handling always leaves me a bit uneasy. Love those seats!

Now I'm once again wondering why Audi sends these RS cars down under and not to the US?? *sigh* :(

Kev

The Audi is sharp, always liked driving the ones I had.  But I did notice one thing, the steering wheel is on the wrong side!!  [big grin]
