AUGUST 2008: CT 22 Dust Extractor

I keep checking in to see who has one. Yesterday a main cable line was cut and almost the whole town was without cable T.V. or internet, and all I could think about was checking this contest, and I had nowhere to go to see. Now that its good on my end, I figured an announcement would have been made by now. ??? I guess Matthew is building suspense on this one.

I've been holding my breath too. I'm a nice shade of purple. ;D I do not envy the judges task this month. Some great projects for sure.

Congratulations Charles,

You've got some beautiful work there. Very interesting use of jigs too!

Mike

Great choice! Congrats Charles. I've been waiting days to tell someone that too.

This was a tough one for me, this project was right there at the top each month. Congratulations Charles.

Thanks, all, for your encouragement and support. I am honored to be judged worthy, considering the outstanding projects, jigs and fixtures that were eligible for this contest.

Let's keep those new entries coming in. We all benefit from the sharing of these posts.

Charles

Congratulations, Charles, on a well-deserved recognition of your woodworking and design skills. Your desks are beautiful and functional, and your documentation of your design choices and building techniques was great. Enjoy the well-earned glow of your achievements!

Congradulations Charles. Very well deserved. I'm sorry i didn't add you to my list. I must not have looked close enough at all the posts. Again, congradulations.

I do have one problem though. I wish I would have seen your project BEFORE the LOML started Nursing school. She would have worn out at leat two of them. For years there was this beautiful woman burried in a book at the other end of the couch or sleeping sitting up. She would have loved a great set up like that. One more time, great job and a well deserved win.
