I have shown pics of earlier versions of these objects, but always in the finished state. Here are a few of the process in a bit more detail, showing the whole line taped up and the core that it wraps around too. I cut up the laminate pieces Friday on the side table, which shows the cut lines and some of the rough measurements I use to cut the parts. Saturday morning, I did the mitering and glue-ups.

It's just ordinary 3/4" particle board. There will be a small plywood toe-kick with adjustable feet, to keep it off of the floor.
