Very impressive.

What finish did you use?

And welcome to the FOG.

I did put 5 layers of a floor vitrifying varnish  on the bathroom (VITRIFICATEUR ULTRA RÉSISTANT SYNTILOR INCOLORE ULTRA MAT 5L) and still have to do it on the dinning table. it's quiet easy to apply and seems to protect it well from water.

I like the look of the bathroom cabinet but I don't think I could brush my teeth without a toe kick space [big grin]

You, sir, have some strange dental hygiene habits!

[wink]

Ecellent job, never thought of hollow legs.
I "Always" make them ouit of solid, which is often very heavy, hard labor and more expensive

Since I also have the tools you used I will try it with the next table  [wink]

I don't know why but I am intrigued as to why you need a toe kick to brush your teeth? Kind of like a car wreck I do and don't at the same time want to see how you brush your teeth??LOL! By the way I do believe there is a toe kick.

Those are accurate miters on thin long stock for a track saw. I assume you cut them of the MFT? You might want to post a how to as there are plenty of questions on how to locate narrow and long stock especially with a bevel. Easy on table saw but not with track saw especially with that accuracy.

Great design and I love the small logo.

Lovely work [wink] [big grin]

On the toe kick tooth brushing saga .. I understand where Charlie Mac is coming from, a couple of inches of under counter toe space makes a lot of difference when standing up against a counter.

I guess it's just obsessive compulsive but without a toe kick space, I'd feel I was too far from the sink. Anyways, I'm glad I was able to place confusing / disturbing imagery in your heads.  [eek]

*Not to take away from the execution of the build which I think is outstanding!

Nice style.  Love the table legs!  Cuts down on the weight for sure.

Bath is nice as well... and I bet this guy doesn't have a problem brushing his teeth there... or maybe just tooth.

I did all the cuts on my MFT but didn't use in any other way as a solid cuting table.
The long festool guide rail allowed me to cut a 2500mm long 45° angle in one cut with the TS55. after that, I did cut the whole piece of wood in 3 smaller pieces and cut the opposite 45°angle using a smaller guide rail on a shorter piece of wood for more accuracy. The TS55  did an amazing job and after the domino assembly, I just had to put a bit of wood paste  to cure the imperfections and gave it a nice smooth sanding. I've been using a milwaukee pendulum jigsaw for 15 years jut to make everything but i got say working for the first time with festool stuff is a whole new world. Such precision and always a solution to craft the wood to match you idea. Gonna spend some time in the garage next year and push the tools more further  [wink]
thanks so much for your comments!
