Battery compatibility

Hi all

I can’t get my bps 18 v li ion batteries to work on my new OSC 18 and my new AGC 18 Angle grinder. They didn’t work with my HKC 55 but to my surprise today they did work. I understood if it was a li ion battery it was forward compatible. Anyone know what’s going on.

The only platform not supported by the BPC 18 Li 3,1 battery according to Festool is the TSC 55.

Sounds like they may be faulty.

Are they standard or Bluetooth batteries? If Bluetooth, it may be worth trying a firmware upgrade using the Festool Work app.

If they’re the old 3.0ah batteries (that aren’t compact ones) from 5+ years ago, then I also found they wouldn’t work in my BHC. Although they worked fine in my other drills.

My brand New battery 5.2BT, dont work with battery charger TCL3. I send it to Festool and they changed the battery for New. I thing something wrong with these.
