I have more back ground info and pictures I will have to add, but over a year after I drug it home I finally have made progress.

I had finished the table last year, but never put the hole in it for the iron plate.

Thats done now.

When you said the top arm mounted to the ceiling I thout you were being a smart A$$. [not worthy]

Either that is the hardest wood known to man, or you need the blade sharpened!  Bill

You need to realize that as it sits, i am running about 650 rpm.  That piece is just under 4" thick.

The blade is something i made from a stock BS blade, since there are no 16" long scroll saw blades out there.

I am pretty happy with the preformance.  This was made for cutting large scroll and fret work back in the late 1800's.  Faster an easier compared to hand work.

I found some 1/4" 4tpi band stock today and made up some new blades.  Cuts a bit faster now, especially when ripping.
