Thanks for looking.

Mark. As always what fantastic pieces you create , I totally like the bookcase, and the last piece the hutch is awesome. I really like the way the oak looks.
What finish did you use on these pieces

Thanks chaps  [embarassed]

The finish on the alcove unit is Hard Wax Oil, one coat, then paste wax...a few more coats.

Here it is fitted.

Used some caulk on this one as I cut the wrong side of the line  :P

Funny you mentioned that at the bottom of your last picture!

As I was just about to comment on the caulk around the unit as its stands out abit.

but u admitted to it so it makes it okay then lol

Caulk and silicone are two of the greatest and most usefull inventions ever  [smile] . Realy nice work by the way .

Mark I really like that Hutch unit alot. The finish is great, and we all make mistakes , heck that's why there are erasers on pencils

Nice Work [thumbs up]

Mark -

Really nice work.  I like it all, but especially the bed frame.  Could you share any more photos of that?  Curious about the joinery on the upper level frame.

Thanks for sharing!
