Sweet.  I like how the white paint emphasizes the stoutness of the legs.  And the bench beside the garden has wonderful airy feel.  Kinda Japanese.  Thanks for sharing.

Is it Cherry?

Hi, its not cherry. Its tropical hardwood. rather difficult to plunge domino to tropical hardwood. its really hard. it actually slipped a few times and caused the domino to viabrate. a few mortises were somewhat wider than intended.

For the piece by the garden,  the top is directly joined to the legs via 6 dominos. There's only 1 season here ie wet season so i'm not so worried about wood contracting too much.
