bessey K body & (T-)Systand = Adjustable support & third hand

chris: maybe you'll find some other alternative uses for the clamps while testing. Guess they're out there.

Does anyone know if the rails are sold as a separate part? I might want to buy a long rail to cut into a few short ones. already got the clamping elements.

I didn't even know the fixed end came off the bar, will have to have a play with my revo's

Only with Revo KRV versions it's possible to remove the heads.
It can slide across the beam to balance the clamps better around the workpiece.
This way they can also be used as spreaders.
Fixed versions are called Revo KR.

Oh yeah I think mine are fixed, I can still use them as spreaders as the moving head can slide off and be reversed.

I'm sure someone's got other alternative ways of using the revo K-body Vario (I stand corrected). It's a great product and there must be many more possible ways to use it.

Sorry for being thick but how is the clamp head clamped to the table?
they are using multiple heads on one  long rail  one set at the bottom & one single  or a twist head & a stationary one on the other end .

there is also a Bessy clamp that will clamp the rail to a table top as well , works great for hold a  edge up for working
these attach to the black  plastic pieces (2 come on each bessy revo )  that holds the rail off the surface , the Bessey  TK-6 Table Clamp

these are pairs BTW I ordered 6 of them thinking they were singles , but they are inexpensive  L O L I got enuff for 6 clamps now  [embarassed]

I'm curious if the method described above (and somewhat cryptically alluded to here) of using the optional "Bessey TK-6 Table Clamps" to transform any Bessey Revo(s) into an impromptu bench vise can be exploited by MFT/3 users (or by users of other forms of 20mm "holey" work tables) by substituting two Bessey-made & Festool-branded clamps (like quick clamps, for instance) in place of the little TK-6 clamps? If so, this would allow one to position and clamp down a Revo anywhere on the MFT/3 table's surface. As it stands, given the deep profile of a table like the MFT/3, using the tiny TK-6 clamps in conjunction with an MFT/3 isn't really feasible unless one cantilevers a piece of material over the edge of the profile - for a table extension - and then uses the little clamps to attach a Revo to it.

For a visual representation of what I'm referring to, try and picture Peter P. in the following video snip employing a couple of Festool quick clamps in place of the little Bessey TK-6 clamps that he actually uses to clamp the Revo down to the length of board:

Of course, being that I do not yet own any Revo clamps, I'm not sure if the diameter of the holes in the applicable molded plastic parts...

...and which are meant for the TK-6 are also compatible with the metal side of the jaw on a Festool/Bessey clamp. If not, it sure would be a shame.
