Best attachment for carpets (CT)

I have a CT and often find myself needing to vacuum carpets on the field as it is very common in my country. For this I have to carry around 2 vacuums. The other vacuum is very good for carpets as it has a motorised head especially for carpets. But I want to use my festool for it! I saw Festool used to have a special attachment for carpets (#450644) but it looks like they stopped selling it 10 years ago.

What are my options 2025?

I was surprised to see that they stopped offering that, but it was more recent than 10 years ago. Others will likely pipe in with the applicable head manufactured by the company that made them for Festool but you can find cheap turbine (suction powered brush) ones on Amazon. The Festool one was also suction powered - not electric motor. They really only work with the 36mm hose.

You might check with Wessel-Werk USA for compatible units. Also ask for the reducer needed to work with Festool hoses.

I've had on my list to get a Wessel-Work head that has a power cord; plug it into the DC, bam, powered beater head.

I have the one you linked to here; it's OK, but def needs 36mm hose; it also loses power the longer the hose is.

Fein makes one that should work "fine" with Festool, I got one years ago as a freebie with vac.

I have the Wessel 'turbo brush', I believe it came with a reducer to fit the Festool tube. Works very well.

As Sparky mentioned, the Festool 203809 was manufactured by Wessel-Work...model TK 286. Here's some comparison photos.
