I've ordered the OF1010 to flush trim solid wood edge banding but need to order a good router bit.  For those of you who trim solid wood edge banding, what do you suggest, is there a “preferred” bit by the masses?

Infinity Tools, Freud, Whiteside, Vortex 1322, etc.???

I’m also looking to make shaker panel door/drawers ... any recommendations on a bit set for this?

When I used the 1010 with the edging accessories, I used a helical ground end mill I had sitting around. It may have been a SGS, Whiteside or maybe an Onsrud. Can't remember.  [smile]

Just remember, this is a 0º router base so you will always have a little "chaff" to sand off the finished product. You will not be able to route anything absolutely flat without a little burr. No big deal...that's why sanders were invented.  [big grin]

My cousin does CNC work and recommended SGS. I’ve never heard of them ... I’ll have to check them out.  Thanks for the info.

I see bits from 3/8” to 2” CL ... I figure 2” is more I can cut but is there situation where that’s bad and I’m better off with shorter?
