Best sander for curved/concave surfaces?

Need to repaint six of these columns - the base is in the worst shape and I should have a sander for the flat surfaces, but what add-ons (or new sander) would I need for the round and concave sections of the bases? Anything available for the actual columns (they just need a light sanding, could be done manually if needed)?

I have these sanders now:
- RO 90
- RO 150
- ETS 150/5
- RS 2

Thx,
Frank

The LS 130, which is discontinued, would be a great option.

Custom-cut hand sanding blocks wouldn't be the end of the world, honestly.

Yep, LS 130. I see them come up every so often on Facebook Marketplace for okay~ish prices.

Another vote for the LS 130. I've seen new ones still available from my dealer recently and I suspect there are still alot of new ones around. I'm using mine right now with the smallest rounderover head to make custom sized cherry molding for a front room. SOOOO much better than doing it by hand!

For the profile of those large pillars, you might want the customizable head for it.

Working with what you already have, I would try the soft foam interface on the RO-90. I use that all the time for contoured surfaces. I would probably go for a block for the concave section, but the RO-90 with the foam pad will handle the convex surfaces nicely.

I'd go for a super soft pad on the RO 90.

Can't believe they've dis'd the LS130  [eek]  glad I got mine!
