Best Wax To Use?

I just made a couple of jewelry boxes as Christmas presents from Tiger Maple.
I dyed them and then coated them with 3 coats of High Performance Satin finish.  They came out really good.
I wanted to put a wax over that to really make them slick.
I never used wax before and would love some suggestions from you guys/gals.

Nick,

I think you will find many woodworkers use Renaissance Wax.  It is a bit on the pricey side but you don't need very much.  In fact, you are encouraged to use sparingly.  It does not come in colors.  It is available at Woodcraft and Rockler and can often be found on sale or you can use one of their coupons.  I am sure you can get it other places as well.

It is also great for waxing drawer slides, tool table surfaces, miter slots and the soles of your tools.  I have used it to polish my shoes and it does great with that as well.

+1 on the Renaissance Wax--I like to buff it out with a lambswool bonnet on my Rotex Ro150--really ices the cake.

I use Trewax amongst others. Good for drawers.

The best waxes I have found have a high proportion of carnuba wax; Trewax is one of these.

I don't know if newer synthetic waxes are better. I suspect that some of the new automotive waxes may be very good over top coats on wood projects. Has anyone tried any of them?

Use Bronze wool instead of steel wool as the steel wool will rust.

I like Johnston Paste wax, it makes the surface smooth.
