Best way to show what your all about!  I found this company some what amusing with the videos they have uploaded to show their quality of work?!?

http://www.robuild.co.uk/video_gallery.htm

Check out the  7th video General Builders   check out the speed of all them workers!

Wonder what the lads are doing with them bricks?  to me to you to me to you lol

Bottom left demonstrates the most efficient and comfortable way of cutting 8x2 timber noggins!   1 noggin per minute lol

Two lads with hard hats who are just standing their but the rest who are ''working'' dont have hard hats on and are wearing trainers! Comedy

I watched a half dozen videos from their Youtube channel because I was so intrigued.  There are very few moments in the videos where anyone is doing anything even discernible let alone actual work.  There don't even seem to very many tools on their jobsites.  Honestly, the videos look like someone had hidden cameras trying to catch a contractor ripping off the client with all the guys standing around or walking aimlessly and not doing any work.  Boy, I really wish this is how my competition would advertise. [big grin]

Brice,

I sure am glad you said that.  I watched them and thought I was missing something other than real meaningful activity in the videos.

Thanks  [thumbs up]

Peter

That is some funny stuff!  It was almost like watching grass grow.

I noticed that too, like they picked up guys on the street and gave them a sweater to wear.

The painters wearing maroon sweaters look strange, get a white shirt.  Don't zoom in on the guy cutting in the ceiling if it isn't straight and crisp.

No one is wearing tool belts or aprons?  Is that a NA thing?

That's what I thought too Vin, no belts and 1/2 the crew wearing sweatpants! Lol, not 1 there would make it a day with me.
The guy on the miter saw was crackin me up, never heard of a stand?, let alone a couple blocks to put under the end hanging 10' off the saw? [huh]
They sure do a lot of scaffold holding down too, if the bosses see this and then decide to use it as advertising?? [scared] Guess it's commercial work at it's finest.

Putting video's like that out there should keep the rest of the tradesmen in London busy, lol.

Hey, at the end of the day, the dude who owned that company saw that video and was proud enough to show the world. Takes guts.

As someone with immense roll on finishing skills under his belt I could tell just by the sound that the roller was making in scene one that there wasnt enough paint on the roller. Definitely looking at a blotchy finish on that one, Eric

If the owner is proud of that work, he wouldn't get my business - shabby.

I think I used up my emoticon supply for the year.  MEDIC!

They are just following the UK Health and Safety Executive recommendations. [tongue]
I really thought this was a send up (Monty Python (sic)) when I watched the "playing with bricks" video.

It's the electricians video you MUST WATCH ... it's a cackle!

I don't believe anyone could do this - unless they want to destroy their image.

Checkout the 2nd (electrcians's) video - they seem to keep going through that door to the loo (UK FOGgers), bathroom (NA FOGgers) or shitzenplatz (the guy who lurked and then disappeared a few weeks ago - Kev you remember him).

OMG please please tell me this is a wind up . how on earth can anyone seriously put up these videos to promote their company .  if you could speed them up you would have a modern take on Laruel and Hardy , but without the class

Haahaaa yeah I thought it was a wind up then I saw a link to their web site checked it out to find loads more videos lol

I was amazed some one believes that's good hard work!

I first thought the boss had setup hidden cameras to catch out his workmen  oh was I wrong!

Even I could do all that 'construction work' - maybe I should apply for a summerjob to walk back and fort and lean on rails. I'm sure I could excel at trying to look busy [tongue] [big grin]

I'm pretty certain he was the "older electrician" with the really dopey expression ... but still, I'm glad he's got a job to occupy his time.

I reckon the owner went down the jobcenter and asked all the available dole-ites if they want to be in a video and he would pay them with a ' genuine'  workies sweatshirt and jog pants ( subject to availibility and fit of course  )
