My FiL has a flat roof on his extension. We are looking for a way to fill in the cracks. Any recommendations?

Here’s a video showing a bit more

Years ago I helped my neighbor install a new roof on one of his apartment buildings. The original roof was a torch down roof that had developed a few small leaks. We rolled on a bitumen/polymer material over the old surface and then laid down a large EPDM sheet over that. We spent as much time on just the flashing details as on the flat roof repair itself.

As above, either new felt or an EPMD membrane with new lead flashing. That roof is at the end of its life and those cracks cannot be filled in any permanent way.

I had to do a few EPDM roofs under some decks, and you would roll right along with the membrane figuring you were ahead of the game - and then came the all too important flashing details, which literally did take longer than the rest of the roof.
