Hi,
I am having problems with bevel cuts with my TSC 55. Depending on the wood, I get significant tearout. The offcut side actually looks much better. It looks like the cut line is slightly to the right of the sprinter guard of the rail, which leads to the tearout. Anyone can explain this? Am I doing something wrong? The TSC 55 is set to 45 and I firmly hold the saw on the rail to that it does not tip over.
The attached image includes two examples with both sides of the cut. Offcut looks much better and I didn't even set the offcut splinter guard.
Thanks!
