I use mine everyday, what advantage the PDC has over some rivals is speed I'd say more than power.
I also find on some tasks it's too easy to make it beep can be frustrating but I guess it's there to protect the drill.

Mine starts beeping more and more when the battery is on the way out, generally speaking I can swap the battery and the drill carries on with whatever it was struggling with before.
When I played with it at the tool show, I used the 90 degree head and it had a 1" short bit in it. I only used it on wood, but I pictured it drill holes through studs to run romex through.
