When is the bigger domino machine going to be available in the US,  and what size domino will it use?

I'm starting to wonder when that ETA list will get updated again.

If Festool had a tool release update board, it might look something like this.

Hi,

Welcome to the FOG !  [smile]

According to the latest Sysnotes , sometime in 2012.  Not sure if anyone has mentioned it yet , but the Sysnotes has an "looking for pros to test the Domino XL for the US application" notice.  [cool]

Festool USA put a promo video of it on youtube recently. That usually means it's on it way soon. I remember they did that for the new drills, the RO90, the Carvex...

...oh wait a minute...

This is from the latest Sysnotes

>>>Every so often a tool comes along that completely changes the way woodworking is done and the original Domino was just that type of tool when it was introduced in 2007. We realized that there were bigger projects and applications that needed to be tackled, so we will be introducing the new Domino XL DF 700 in 2012, which, just like the original Domino, makes mortise and tenon joinery a breeze but on a larger scale. Watch a video to see it in action!
