Hi Guy's,
I have a Powermatic 66. To say this machine is dialed in is the understatement of the year. Everything is very nice but I'm wondering about my toe out at the back or end of the fence. My miter slots are dead 0.000" to a Grasche test plate (more accurate than a blade). My fence when placed along either miter slot and flushed to the slot edge in the front of saw table is toed out away from the blade or 1/32" past the slot edge.
What is yours set at? Some prefer the fence dead parallel to the miter slot/blade. Why I bring this up is because when I rip longer pieces (say 4' and up) the material is off the fence at the rear or open. Shouldn't it remain tight to fence all the way even though the fence is toed to the right?
I'm thinking 1/32" is too much.
Thanks
