I recently purchased an 18v drill, then bought the bit adapter. About 5 weeks later the adapter fell apart bearing came out. I emailed Festool to see if it was a warranty item ($25.00 a little pricey). They had repair contact me. Repair said it was not a warranty item,but if I sent a copy of the receipt they would replace it, cool. Sent receipt, no response. Emailed a couple of times and resent receipt, no response. Emailed Festool again, no response. It's not really a huge deal, but some kind of answer would have been nice. I am a loyal dozen or so tool owner.
