I used my domino joiner to build this walnut credenza.  The piece is built from solid wood 5/4 stock that finished up to one inch for the top, sides, bottom and shelf.  I milled the doors and frame and panel back to 7/8 inch thick.  I used Brusso hinges, ball catches and door pulls.  I finished the piece with shellac in the interior and Minwax Wipe On Poly for the exterior.  The design was from a piece published in the July/August 1988 issue of Fine Wood Working by John McAlevey.

@honeydokreg, It will most likely end up in my house but, I built it to move some previously glued up boards out of the way to make room for a hallway table and mirror I have to build.  I think my wife will find a place for it somewhere.

Hi, Nice job. Lovely finish too.

Just curious- what made you put the ball catches in the case and the stops in the doors? Usually it is done the other way round.

Richard, I thought that if I put the ball catch in the door it might leave a mark on the case stile since the reveals were so tight.  Also, since this was my first use of these ball catches, I was just "winging it".  Thanks for the comments!

Very nice!  Love Walnut and the finish.  I also like that big jointer in the background...

Oh Yes, my Poitras joiner with a Cast Iron base and carbide knives is a great machine.
