Hi,
I'm not sure if this is the category this topic should be under, but I think it's the most suiting.
I've bought a used Kapex 60, of which the blade guard was damaged and not attached. I've ordered a new blade guard, but after assembling the blade guard I realized there are more parts missing. The blade guard does not go up or down when lowering the blade.

Looking at the images at festools parts catalogue, I can see I'm missing the draw spring. But I'm also missing the part the spring attaches too. I'm not sure which part that is. Can someone help me with that? I'm guessing it's the pusher and pusher spring, but I'm not sure that's all there is to it.
(draw spring is part 22, pusher and pusher spring 34 and 35 on the parts catalogue)

I think I'd already be helped with a picture of the mechanism without the blade attached to it.

thanks in advance!

I've purchased the spring, which nicely attaches to the blade guard. I can't see where it attaches tot the saw to make the guard go up and down with the saw. No one has a picture of that part of the saw?

This fellow had dissembled the saw. Maybe one of the parts of the series would help?

I did see those video's before, but I thought the ks120 was different than the ks60. Looking at it again, and it might not be all that different. Will take a better look at it  [thumbs up]

Just took my saw apart to take a look and don't know how I've missed it, but in the back of the saw-housing there is a little notch to hold the other end of the spring  [doh].

Next part of the challenge: the guard stays closed now and doesn't open when I push the saw down.
I'm thinking I need the part on the picture below (which is from an 120 and not of an 60) but it's not on the list of spare parts so I'm not entirely sure this part is also on an Kapex KS60. Can anyone confirm?

(Will ask the the Festool dealership in town, but they could't really help me before on this...)

For the sake of the knowledge base, in case someone else encounters the same problem in the future.
The dealership in town was kind enough to get the saw fixed by festool on their expenses ( [thumbs up]. In hindsight it's kind of obvious but I was missing part "200262 Lever". It's comparable with the Kapex 120 part in my post above. Could have known, my former DeWalt saw had a similar part to get the guard up.
