Bluetooth Remote Control Set CT-FI/M-Set

bit of a techy question but does anyone know how the bluetooth controller turns the dust machine on and off? i ask as i have a portable industrial vacuum that was used to keep a cnc machine dust free and has a remote on off. i'm into electronics so wondered if i could adapt one
