Book on Compressed Air?

Welcome.  I doubt if you'll find a book dedicated to this subject.  Compressed air would probably be covered in a chapter or section within a chapter in a book about general woodworking.  Hopefully someone will prove me wrong and have a recommendation.

If not, feel free to post some specific questions and I'm sure you'll get some good advice.  Running pipes for air is something I've been putting off for too long.  Maybe this will motivate me.

Here's a site that looks like a good source for home shop compressed air piping system and parts

Thanks for the reply Steve.  There are some books on amazon, but they seem to be weighty tomes aimed at industrial applications.  Overkill, in my case.  Perhaps there's a good chapter in one of those 'Setting up Shop' type books?

I don't really have specific questions, I was just looking for a good reference to have on hand.  The shop I'm working in now has a cobbled together air system that's probably 20 years old; who knows the last time anyone did any maintenance on it.  It's got a lot of water in it, and is only getting worse as the weather gets colder.  I just want to go through it and see what tweaks I can make so it'll perform better.

j,

I don't know if you are a member, but you might want to look at the enclosed link from Finewoodworking.com.  You can sign up for a free 14 day trial and view it.  I am not a member so I can't tell if it is any good, but after being a subscriber for 30 plus years I doubt its garbage.  Here is the link :Air compressor plumbing for a workshop
