I have looked on EKAT (US version) and on Festool website and cannot find a part number or price for the 50mm vac hose segment.  2016 catalog shows 8.5' and 13' hoses, and EKAT refers to the catalog.  Can't find any mention of short length 50mm AS hose on Bob Marino's website.  I'm stuck at the moment, and do not want to consider buying an 8.5' hose just to cut a small section out of it.  What I'm looking for is approx. 3' of 50mm AS hose to put into my version of Peter Parfit's (thanks Peter for the brilliant idea/concept) of a Dust Hub.  Can anybody help me out?

Thanks, Don

The European EKAT shows #452386 for the short piece of 50 mm hose.
That's only a hose, no connectors.

Good afternoon (I'm assuming a 6hr + time difference).  Appreciate the heads-up about European p/n; I'll check it out.  I've only ordered model train stuff directly from Europe and, all-in-all it was a hot mess, and I'm hesitant about doing it again, but I have a son who travels to Germany frequently - perhaps he can pick it up for me.

Thanks, Don

You should contact Festool USA. They have a good reputation.
If they sell a boom arm in the USA they should also do spares.

Roger that; on Monday will call Festool and Bob Marino.  I ran the p/n you gave me thru Ekat-USA and Festool USA website with no luck.  In the meantime, am considering 2"od pipe or tubing and using metal foil or metal foil tape to establish a ground (or earth).  This solution would not be ideal, but I think it should work... Perhaps if Rick Christopherson is looking in he can give and opinion as well.  Not trying to preclude others with opinions - in no way, I want all the help/input I can get - I'm just aware of Rick's posts on dust extractor hoses and static build-up/discharge.

Thanks, Don
