I have a CT22 and a boom arm but find the hose is not long enough to reach the floor or some areas when cleaning up after a project.  I don't really want another full hose to have to deal with if possible  Anyone had any luck with short 3' or so hose extension?  Other ideas?

Boom arm is great except this shortfall for cleanup.

Thanks.

i presume you have the 50mm hose on. do you want the hose perminently longer or only tempereally longer.
have you a 27mm or 36mm hose on.
are the hoses  plug it hoses  if they are you will have to put a piece in on the vac end and put an extension cord on the plug

you could get a 2meter length of 50mm hose  and replace the 1 meter piece. or get another 1meter piece and a joiner

If you have to add length, isn't the shortest length available of Festool hose 3.5m?  Do you have multiple hoses or just the 27mm?  There are other options for inexpensive hoses (for intermittent use) or perhaps someone on the FOG has a short piece that could accomodate your needs (if I did, I would offer it).  Is your CT set in a non-moveable position (as 3 feet is such a short length)?  Do you have any of the additional cleaning sets as the rigid tubes would get you the 3 feet and is much faster in cleanup (this assumes you only have the hose and no attachments)?  I think some of these are available without the extra hoses.

I used a simple piece shop vac hose and a shop vac coupler between the CT and the Festool hose, it has worked great for years.
