I built this a number of years ago, to route a 16th inch grooves accurately. The carriage that holds the router is adjustable in and out to adjust different diameter bits to the edge of the rail. It works fantastically, but now I have a Micro-Fence Plunge base and would like to adapt that to the rail. The accessory that micro-fence sells puts the router on the wrong side of the rail (in my mind). Has anybody mounted or have ideas on a better way to mount the plunge base? of should I just make a larger version of what I have?

Here are some pics....

That's a nice jig, I like the use of the alum bar in the slot to keep it running straight.
My aftermarket router use on festool straightedges use plywood with a dado that
fits over the raised part of the festool rail. By using a plywood base of 10" or so
there is not any noticeable slop. Congrads on the micro plunge base, very nice.
