Amazon has some bosch hoses on sale until 8/29 for 20% off.  Make sure you select Amazon as the seller and you'll see the discount on the last page of the checkout.

You'll need to swap out the tool end connector and install the Festool tool end connector, but I believe the vac end connector will work with your Festools (just doesn't rotate like Festool's).

35mm 5 meter non-antistatic hose $21 - 20%

35mm 5 meter antistatic hose $85 - 20% (edit - this one has a different vac end connector, so you'll need both Festool connectors for this hose!)

That's actually a really nice price on the VAC005 (non antistatic) even before the discount.  It's normally $30.

That is a good deal. I paid $29 bucks for mine back in 2012.

Just picked up another for $17 including tax.

I'm now seeing the static hose (non-antistatic seems so double negative) for $50.00.  Is that because Amazon ran out and they are now reference the third-party sellers?

Also, noted that the anti-static hose now recommends two Festool hose ends with the hose as a package.

Overall, looks like FOG members have been busy :).

Bought a VAC005 a number of months ago, and cut it into 2 pcs - one for Kapex and other for home-made vac hose boom arm.  Added some Festool hose ends (thanks erock for video tip on what to get) and am happier than hogs in mud.

Looks like they are gone.  Usually you have the option to order from Amazon and you'll get it when it's back in stock, but this time they completely removed Amazon as a purchasing option.  Sorry, looks like the non antistatic hoses are gone now.

[member=61231]HarveyWildes[/member] Amazon just put back their listing for the "static" hose for $21.  Will be back in stock on 8/27.  Now hurry up before they yank it out from under you...a second time!  :)

I would like to mention also if you have a Kreg foreman the $299 one a Bosch VAC003 fits perfectly for the Festool dust collection hose. It also fits on a Dewalt compact router dust collection attachment.

I just received the non-anti static hose today - very nice quality - can't beat it for about $17 - ordered another before the sale is over  [big grin]. Festool compatible except the 35mm end does not rotate.

Just ordered the non-anti-static for general cleanup use. Thanks for the heads up, FOGers! $17 is an awesome deal.

And it's gone again....... [eek]

Guess if you want one you just need to check every so often for more stock at Amazon.

I use a non-anti static one on my dust deputy.  Connects well at that end.  The other end fits my DeWalt sander and track saw.  The track saw needs no adapter but the sander needs the Bosch adapter.  The hose also fits my metal house vacuum pipe for floor sweeping.  I prefer my 2.5 inch hose for the shop floor - so small debris doesn't plug it.

I just received my Festool antistatic hose 36mm32mm. I buy mostly festool accessories for my tools, sandpapir, blades, hoses. Maybe I'm sentimental I feel the company of Festool provides pretty good tools to me, and I am really good at finding them for competitive prices, so it doesn't seem worth it to save a few bucks on the hose...So Festool makes some more money maybe they'll use it on R&D. I also I think having to order the Festool fittings to work the Bosch hoses seems like an extra expense that makes the deal less interesting, especially when I was buying other festools at the same time as the hose so the shipping was next to nothing.

$123 versus $21 is quite a difference for a 5M non-anti ststic hose (amazon pricing).  Bosch adapters are less than $3.  I like my Bosch.

The Bosch antistatic were also on sale and I bought up 3 of them for 67.00 each, fantastic hoses and since I had so many Festool fitting laying around, they screwed right on. I only needed them on the vac side. Even if someone needed to buy the Festool ends and pay full price for the Bosch antistatic they are a far better deal and I think a better hose than the Festool. Even though the Bosch hose states 35 mm they still fit the Festool Hose ends.

I'm on the EU so the Amazon deal isn't so happening here I think. But still it seems like I get a lot of Festool gear at pretty good prices where I'm at so that might make up for it as far as worrying about saving a few bucks on accessories. Btw I almost never buy from US retailers anymore because of the taxes and the shipping. It often sounds like a really good deal but in the end nope. Which is a shame really. Even buying from the UK the shipping prices are at least double if I buy from Germany or Italy for that matter..
