Bosch JS5 at Rockler

Rockler has a "Deal of the day" on their web site for online orders only for a Bosch JS5 5.7 AMP Jigsaw. I know it's the  compact version, but for that price....70 bucks. Sure gonna beat the 20+ yr old B&D vibrator/saw I've got. That piece of cheese goes out the door with the next donation bag!

Agree, I'd like to have the larger Bosch or Festool in due time. Right now, for that little bit of money it'll do. I have a few other tools to acquire and need to economize where appropriate and get the good stuff when it counts. When I do get that upgrade this can become the 'loaner' for those times when Sonny Boy comes by and sez, "Hey Dad, got a jig saw I can borrow?"
