while looking at all the wonderful tool not available here in the US on http://www.axminster.co.uk I see Bosch is packaging some tools in systainers. Has anyone see them in person?

I have seen the Bosch systainers, and they're exactly the same as Festool's. In fact, more and more companies now bring their tools in systainers, I know of about a dosen companies who do that by now.

Yes, makita is switching to systainers too, for now only for their li-ion cordless tools (the plungecut saw already came in a systainer).
I got a tool only version of their new brushless impactdriver, it's sold in a systainer 3, which is a bit of a waste of space, but the charger stores vertically in the systainer, so I guess they needed the height.

I posted about this a while back i wanted a Makita branded sys4 to put all my Makita drills in one systainer. I emailed Makita UK and at that time here they only sold the rail saw in a systainer but now they are doing a new router which also comes in a systainer but I could not buy an empty systainer from them yet.

So you guys over there in Belgium get the li-ion makita stuff in systainers yeah ???

The bosch ones have been out a while here with the small li-ion drills and the li-ion multi cutter (Fein clone)

How long ago was it you asked for the systainer?
In the Netherlands they just started using the systainers at the end of february.
There was  a bi-annual buildingfair in Utrecht early february, and all the visitors got a (empty) makita case. I asked if it had anything to do with them switching to systainers; and if that was the case, I would want to order one for the impact driver I had, and I also wanted one for my dad's barrelgrip jigsaw.
At the time they said they would start with the lithium ion tools and  they didn't have the inserts yet for the other tools. (I just saw in your link that they have one for the jigsaw now too)

I live practicly on the border between the Netherlands and Belgium, and I do most of my tool-shopping in the Netherlands.

A couple of months ago I think I posted about Makita systainers I just emailed a guy on German Ebay who is selling them but he wont post to the UK only Germany  :(
