Box for my Kapex

I decided since I don't have the Festool ug stand for my Kapex to make a birch ply box for it to keep it safe in the van so that nothing will damage it as my van at the end if a job tends to get filled to the roof with all sorts of stuff.

It's made from 12mm birch ply with a poky film on it. I used keko clips from Hafele to hold the front so that I can easily take the saw out of it and leave the box in the van for it but if I wanted to I can turn the box up in its end and use it to put the saw on to make some cuts.

I beveled the inside of the front panel to make it easier to get into the box as it is inset.

One question for you guys who are looking at this. Has anyone got any ideas how I can attach some systainers to the top of the box when I am transporting them so that they don't slide around the place? Is there a specific catch I can use?

very nice john.
how about a few dominoes  to locate the sys and a ratchet strap to hold them there

put the dowel so that the 2 pins for the catchs  is located by the dowel.
t locs .  probably only by putting them around the edge and holding it in all directions.

you could buy 2 sys lids and screw them to the top and build the stack on top of that

Wow a home for your kapex!!!

Put a 1x1 frame around the top. That the first one can set into then bunji it
