Broken clip on CT 26e

It is Monday.  I was opening up my CT 26e to empty the bag and the top slipped out of my hands.  It hit the concrete floor in the shop and snapped off the one clip that holds the top to the bottom.  I am waiting to hear back from Festool about this.  Has anyone here been through this and replaced this thing themselves?

Easy fix. Just 2 parts that snap together.

Thank Alex.  Snap is what they did to come apart, so I was a little nervous about that part of the process.  The part is on its way - or will be shortly.

If it snapped off, is it really broken? Can't you just push it back in place?

If only I were that lucky.  Actually, I am that lucky today, just in other areas.  I just dodged a potential $1000 repair bill on my truck when it turned out to be a simple fix for less than $40.  But my Festool is truly broken.  I am hoping the new part will snap on as easily as this one came off, but still remain in one piece.

Yep, that's really broken. Don't worry, the new part will snap on very easily, that's how it works, easy snap on from one direction, locked from the other.

The part arrived today, and as you described, it went right on.  It was easier than I anticipated, that's for sure.  Now I don't have to hold it together with ratcheting ties downs!  [scared]
