Broken Part Identification

Hi all,

I am fairly sure that this broken part is off my Festool equipment but have had no luck in identifying [eek] where it came from.  Can anyone point me in the right direction.

I have the following DF 500, TS55, OF1400, PD 20/4, MFT/3 and a RO 150 and all types of the clamps.

Picture isn't all that clear, for me.  But.....
Check the top of your DF500.  Two black pieces with a dovetail prevent the fence from coming completely off. 
That's the first place I would look.

Many thanks for the quick response.  I've checked the DF 500 and the right hand dovetail piece is indeed missing which I will replace.

However, this is not the missing piece I can't identify.  I have taken another photo which hopefully is clearer.

Hi Eric,

I've trawled through my other tools and found the broken part was from a non-Festool clamp!  Feeling very foolish now!

However, on the good side, I have found following your advice that my DF 500 is missing a part.  The joys of Ekat await!
