C15 or C18

Love my T18 and CSX, great combo. However recently added C18 to the mix to back up screwing power as I like the shape better for that application. What annoys me though is the fact that 2.6 batts are more than 4.2/5.2 batts??? Have four 18v batts 4.2 and 5.2 for Carvex, BHC and drills mentioned above. So currently my C18 is not as compact or leight as I would like. Why are they more expensive...?

yeah that irks me a little too why the hell are the 2.6 ah batts dearer than 5.2

Thanks for all of the replies guys! After what some of you have said in here I'm torn between the C18 and the CXS to compliment my Hilti set I think I'm leaning towards the CXS it is a lot cheaper  ???

Here's a picture of the two next to each other. The C18 with the 2.6ah and 4ah batteries.

JGrant,
First, welcome to the FOG!  As you can see a lot of opinions and good advice here to help when you need it, the thread has strayed a little so I re-read your post to make sure what you were asking.
Since you already have an impact driver and drill from Hilti a c15 or c18 is duplicating your tools, the tool that makes the most sense is the CSX.  Until you hold them both in your hand (CSX, C18) you can't tell but they are very different tools.  For cabinet install and trim like you want, the CSX is designed for just that application and it excels!  Also, don't be fooled by the compact size, it's a medium sized wolf in sheeps' clothing.
Finally, don't be afraid to test one out and if it's not up to snuff, take advantage of the 30 day return policy.  It's there for a reason, use it if the tool isn't what you expected.
Good luck,  CB
P.S. buy the SET.
