C15 US Debut?

It's been awhile since someone asked the question, when will the C15 be released in the US?  I'm anxiously waiting to take the plunge on a new Festool drill and I am willing to wait a few months.  I know the old C12's are on clearance, so does this mean we will see the new models soon?  TIA

I don't know when they will be available here, a guess is some time later this year (maybe fall or later). I base that on what Shane has said about the possibility of new tools being released.

Brice's estimate is pretty good.  I would expect to see them late this year.

Yes!  (But the sooner, the better.)  My C12 batteries are getting old and won't hold a charge as long as they used to.  I can definitely see a C15 in my future.  I'm still wrestling with the issue of cordless vs corded, but I can see combo package of C15 + Carvex with charger as being a hot seller.

Your C12 has at least 500,000 screws left to drive. I would get new batteries for it. For sure! especially with the lower price on the C12 batteries right now. Plus when you get the C15 you will have 2 awesome festool drills.

Im tempted to buy another C12. hopefully they will still be available for a while.

Gary since you already got you answer I'll post it for everyone to see. The C15 is a new C series drill with second generation brushless motor, Li-Ion battery, led light and belt clip. There will also be 12v version too. The new model will replace the old C12 that is currently being sold at a close out discount. Well, Festool and clearance don't really go in the same sentence.  It's grammatically an oxymoron (except for the previous example!).
