Fabricated the uppers and the balance of the cabinets/panels/doors/drawers.

How I wanted them. More a hutch/butler than a kitchen cabinet. The toe kick is a furniture style that aligns with the face of the doors.

That lifter looks good and sturdy.
I like the end panel pullouts. Are you putting oak panels on the inside? I see there was an end panel installed next to the stove too...good idea.
Are those handles or pulls at the top of those pullouts?

I like the valance/hood treatment above the window. Looks really good.

Are you doing the floor too?

Thanks. Granite has already fissured, I was there when it popped. Cracked right along a quartz line, glad the owner handled the granite, start to finish.

Lift is a Rev A Shelf heavy duty----I think.

I did panelize the back of the existing island cabinets. I'll take a pic when I changeout a couple of hinges, had to order more soft close.

The slides are all self/soft close. No handles/pulls so I had to come up with something for the pullouts. Those are a handle, the inside is routed out, makes a finger pull. I had asked the granite installers to bias the top 1/4" towards the pullout side, they forgot so the pulls are close to the edge of the granite. Obviously they need a little finish touch up.

Did that floor about 4 years ago, it's coming out and a rectified tile with 1/16" grout joints will be installed a little later.

I wasn't sure about the valance at first, it did come together in the end.

What makes it fissure? Temprature/moisture?

Nature of the material. It's in the contract this is not a warranty item. The two plates stayed on plane so nothing is done with the top.

The granite will not be repaired in any way. I've seen it happen on other slaps, once the tension is released the slab is happy and just sits there quietly.
