Cabinet Door Hinges

I'm new to building cabinets.  Is there a cabinet hinge that allows for full overlay coverage (cover the entire face frame)  and can be used with a 1 1/2" face frame?  This is for two end cabinets.

Yes...the Blum Compact 33 hinges for face frame cabinets have a wide range of mounting plates to meet specific overlay details including yours.

As Kevin mentioned the 33 with the proper plate, they also make the 38C which will work also.

Sorry for the newbie question, but when searching for the Blum hinge and plate, I should search for a 33 or 38C hinge and a 1 1/2" overlay plate?

Start at page 82. You can use the 39C, 38C, 39B or 33 to achieve what your trying to do.

Door thickness, edge detail and swing degrees are what you need to figure out. Once you get these details figured out you can begin picking hinges.

Your head will most likely explode by the time you get this all figured out.

FWIW...I've used lots of the Blum 33 style hinges and in the past AH Turf was always the cheapest and more importantly they had everything in stock for immediate shipment. I tried using local suppliers but they were always short of everything I needed.  [crying]
