Hi - attached are some progress and finished pictures of a cabinet that I build for my sister. she had requested the design based on a cabinet that she had seen at stores and also had requested specific dimensions.

Gluing and Sizing Panels

Using the domino to join panels (Rather than Dados)

Using the MFT /Guide to align the mortises

Dry fitting and gluing - the domino makes dry fitting quite easy. I also fully sanded the individual parts before gluing.

Bandsawing and sanding the curved trim detail. The Osc. Sander and fien small sanding paper makes it quite easy.

used the 4mm dominos for the first time to create drawers (worked quite well). Stained the project using thin shellac wash coat, gel stain and then shellac and lacquer final coat. I also added a detail to the draw front after initial dry fit.

Nice work. I actually liked the colour before you finished it (personal taste).

There is definitely beauty in the color of wood. Though this had to match with other furniture.

I like it. That sort of mixture would make a nice nightstand.

I didn't see progress pix on the basket weaving?

The A3 is definitely worth it. I was able to purchase and dimension stock from the lumber yard for the last year or so - rather than HD. It was a significant improvement from the ridgid planer that I had before.
